I’m pleased to announce that we are featuring the Ogle award winning audio drama series The Witch Hunter Chronicles on the podcast. The first three episodes have been posted with the remaining episodes to follow over the course of the next few weeks.

The Witch Hunter Chronicles is a dark fantasy tale about a fictional renaissance world where doom is fast approaching and the end of all things may be nigh. In the midst of this turmoil, we find a lonely man with a thirst for revenge, an innocent girl with great unknown power and a dark presence slowly moving the great city of Sevenpeaks to the brink of total collapse…

The Witch Hunter Chronicles is a project by Audio Epics.

Audio Epics is a small Belgian group of determined lovers of the medium of audio drama. They are committed to bringing this almost forgotten medium back into the spotlights by creating stories with the charm and imagination of traditional, old-fashioned audio drama as well as a sense of quality and spectacle that is distinctly modern.

BLACKBERRY PODCAST PROBLEMS

It appears that Blackberry is having an issue with their podcast app. New shows are not being released to Blackberry devices. This problem started the first part of November and has been ongoing since. It’s affecting all Blackberry podcasts so hopefully they will have this fixed soon. As of this date (November 27, 2011) there are 101 shows up on the Moonlight Audio Theatre Podcast, unfortunately, Blackberry is only showing 94. So if you download from Blackberry, please hang in there. Also, if you know of anyone who has a Blackberry, please pass the word on to them.

David Farquhar, the Executive Producer of Voices In The Wind Audio Theatre says “This is an excellent opportunity for a young girl between the ages of ten to sixteen to showcase their acting talents to an international audience via the Moonlight Audio Theatre Podcast. The Podcast is listened to in some 25 countries worldwide and is fast approaching the half million total download mark.”

Farquhar is also pleased to announce that New York based multi award winning audio book narrator, Film, Broadway and TV actor Barbara Rosenblat has agreed to voice several parts in the production. The audio adaptation was written by Diane Vanden Hoven of London, Ontario.
